This duo started in 2007, the idea being that Neil and Karl should get together once a month, and without rehearsing, play anything at all that happened to inspire them both.

The ensuing lunacy has taken on a life of its own as everyone seems to love hearing their very raucous and virtuosic instrumental versions of a ridiculously diverse range of tunes, all delivered with a good helping of Monty Python-esque comedy and on the spot improvisation.

With fans aged from 18-70, and growing interest from the festival circuit, ENCOURAGING THE LOONY genuinely appeal to everyone!
